Born 1980 in Tokyo. He moved to the U.S. after graduating from NPI (Advertising Course) in 2002, studying at the University of Arizona, graduating from the Brooks Institute of Photography (Commercial Course), thereafter changing his base to NY and attending the International Center of Photography (Documentary Course) while interning at the Richard Avedon Foundation. After graduation, he returned to Japan in 2007 and became independent after working as a photographer's assistant and at a photo studio. Founded Five Two Zero Inc. in 2014. Signed to SIGNO Co., Ltd. since March 2016. Currently active in areas such as fashion publications, advertising, catalogues and movies.

Worked in the Asahi Shimbun Publications Photography Department for 3 years. During her time there, she took photos for magazines published by Asahi Shimbun Publications, such as "Shukan Asahi" and "AERA." After becoming freelance, she has mainly been shooting sports related photos such as rugby, which she has continued to photo since she was a student. Her sports photography works include the J SPORTS homepage, Sports Graphic Number, Rugby Magazine, Japan Rugby Top League homepage, JIHF (The Japan Ice Hockey Federation) official photographs, etc. Apart from sports, her works include those for newspapers, magazines and pamphlets, etc.

Attracted to the appeal of capturing the shining moments in a woman's life, she became interested in wedding portrait photography while a student. Standing alongside couples at the starting point of their new life, she has been pursuing a flexible, fresh approach in her photography of family photos and portraits. While remaining respectful of traditional methods, she is always exploring the possibilities of new methods and new equipment. She is often approached for TV, newspaper, magazine and industry related media for interviews and coverage, and also receives many requests for specials and lectures.

04 YU-YA TAKAHASHI

Yu-ya Takahashi

March 2014, Postsecondary Course I (Daytime), Photography Course, 2 Year Curriculum, Fashion Portrait Seminar graduate
Attended Saitama Prefectural High School of the Arts

Born in 1993. After graduating from NPI, he studied under the photographer Leslie Kee, after which he began to freelance as an independent photographer. Based on his principle of capturing vibrant and lively human portraits, he shoots photos at the Paris Fashion Week as well as photographing many famous actors, celebrities and prominent musicians. This spring, he also took part in a large-scale fashion advertisement project in collaboration with SHIBUYA109. He is active in a wide range of genres, including fashion magazines and advertisements.

05 DAISUKE YOKOTA

Daisuke Yokota

Photographer, March 2004, Postsecondary Course I (Daytime), Press/Art Photography Course (Current: Photo Creative Seminar) graduate

Born 1983 in Saitama Prefecture. He was awarded the "Outset Unseen Exhibition Fund" at the 2013 Unseen Photo Fair, and held his first personal exhibition "Site/Cloud" at the FOAM Photography Museum. He was also awarded the "Paul Huf Award" in 2016. He has published numerous photo collections in and out of Japan, such as "TARATINE" (published by Session Press, 2015), and "VERTIGO" (published by Newfave, 2014).

Signed to STUDIO GMAC, he is involved in the photographs of CHANEL, Calvin Klein, BVLGARI and YL for magazines, advertising photos such as for SoftBank and ISETAN, and also taking photos of musicians for CD jackets, etc. Additionally, he has been awarded the D&AD Wood Pencil Award for his involvement in "UNSIGNED" (a collaborative project exhibition with the joint undertaking of the Tokyo University of the Arts and Taito-ku).
