*Study tour reserve fund (course I only), healthcare fee, alumni association fee, graduation related fees will be due in addition to the above academic fees.
*As a general rule, academic fees must be paid annually in lump sum; however, annual tuition may be paid in 2 installments also. For those requesting payment in installments, please contact the Admissions Office.
*There will be an additional practical training fee of JPY50,000 per year for 2nd and 3rd year students enrolled in the Photo Social Business Course due to the focus on work creations.
*There will be an additional practical training fee/facility fee of JPY50,000 per year for 3rd year students enrolled in the 3 year curriculum due to the focus on work creations.

Study Tour Reserve Fund
Photography Course I (Daytime/3 Year Curriculum) Photo Interdisciplinary studies Seminar・Photo Art Seminar
In the second year, an overseas study tour will take place, travelling to Arles, France (photography festival) under the theme "Photography and Cross Cultural Exchange." The participation fee for the tour will be paid in 2 installments under a fund system. Payment of each installment is due, 1) on admissions, and 2) with the payment of the academic fees for the second year. (Total of fund: JPY300,000 (JPY150,000 per installment x 2))*
*Please note that additional fuel surcharges may be incurred to the cost of the study tour.
*Other necessary expenses will be incurred as a result of the overseas training program.
Photography Course I (Daytime/3 Year Curriculum) Photo Fieldwork Seminar
In the third year, an overseas fieldwork tour will take place. The participation fee for the tour will be paid in 3 installments under a fund system. Payment of each installment is due, 1) on admissions, 2) with the payment of the academic fees for the second year, and 3) with the payment of the academic fees for the third year. (Total of fund: JPY1,140,000 (JPY380,000 per installment x 3))*
*Please note that additional fuel surcharges may be incurred to the cost of the study tour.

Photography Course I (Daytime/2 Year Curriculum)
In the second year, an overseas study tour will take place, travelling to either Arles, France (photography festival) or Southeast Asia, under the theme "Photography and Cross Cultural Exchange." The participation fee for the Southeast Asia tour will be paid in 2 installments under a fund system. Payment of each installment is due, 1) on admissions, and 2) with the payment of the academic fees for the second year. (Total of fund: JPY200,000 (JPY100,000 per installment x 2))*

Photo Communication Course(Evening / 2 Year Curriculum)
Payment of each installment is due, 1) on admissions, and 2) with the payment of the academic fees for the second year. (Total of fund: JPY100,000 1) JPY50,000 2) JPY50,000)

Healthcare Fee
This fee will cover health examinations, domestic travel insurance, and student union insurance (including academic fees insurance). For details of the insurance, please refer to the "Student Union Insurance" page in the "Admissions Guidebook/Admissions Documents". The Healthcare Fee will be JPY20,000 per year.
Graduation Related Fees
This fee will cover the costs of the graduation party and graduation exhibition. The fee will be approximately JPY37,000 due in the graduating year.
Equipment Purchase Fees on Admissions
Students purchasing a digital camera (mirrorless cameras permitted are limited) will require camera purchase fee (JPY100,000+), and approximately JPY160,000-250,000 in additional fees to purchase a PC, printer, software, and other photography equipment. Students who already own photographic equipment will be asked to purchase any missing required items. The required equipment varies depending on the academic year and seminar, and details will be provided at the admissions orientation session.
Other Lesson Fees: Off-campus study, fieldtrips, supplies
Students will be required to pay the transportation fees to and from photo shoot locations. The total cost per month for developing, printing and purchasing supplies such as ink, inclusive of transportation fees, is approximately JPY10,000-30,000.
For those applicants who decline admission due to various circumstances after payment of the academic fees, and request a refund of said fees (excluding the admission fee), must notify the school Administration Office in writing (clearly stating the reason for declining, and signed/stamped by the applicant and his/her guardian(s)), to be received no later than 31 March 2024.
