広告界・ファッション界・美術界に大きなインパクトを与え続ける世界的写真家、デヴィッド・ラシャペル氏が登壇するオンライントークショーを、2026年1月10日（土）に開催いたします。
本イベント「未来の写真家たちへ ― Message from the Masters of Photography」は、コロナ禍以降、国内外を自由に行き来できない閉塞的な状況の中でも、写真家を目指す人々に大きな刺激を届けたいという思いから、2021年にNPIが立ち上げたシリーズです。
これまでに、Alec Soth（アレック・ソス）、Steve McCurry（スティーブ・マッカリー）、Susan Meiselas（スーザン・メイゼラス）、Stephen Shore（スティーブン・ショア）、Martin Parr（マーティン・パー）など、世界を代表する写真家が登壇し、毎回大きな反響を呼んできました。第6回となる今回は、ファッション、コマーシャル、アートを横断しながら写真表現を革新し続けるデヴィッド・ラシャペル氏が登場します。

An online talk event featuring David LaChapelle—an artist who continues to make a profound impact on the advertising, fashion, and art worlds—will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026.
This talk series was launched by our institution in 2021 with the aim of inspiring aspiring photographers, even amid the restrictive circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, when free travel between countries was limited.
Titled “Message from the Masters of Photography – For the Photographers of the Future,” the series brings messages from internationally active photographers to the next generation.
To date, the series has featured some of the world’s most celebrated photographers, including Alec Soth, Steve McCurry, Susan Meiselas, Stephen Shore, and Martin Parr, each of whom has generated significant public interest. For its sixth edition, we are honored to welcome David LaChapelle.
Renowned for revolutionizing photographic expression across fashion, commercial work, and fine art—and highly acclaimed within the contemporary art world—LaChapelle will share the message he wishes to convey to the next generation of photographers.
