2年生を対象とした特別ワークショップを開催しました。

講師はフォトグラファーの五十嵐隆裕先生です。

聞き手は本校講師でキュレーターの菅沼比呂志先生です。

五十嵐先生は本校の広告写真科（現在のコマーシャルフォトゼミ）を卒業後、渡米され、2011年にフォトグラファーとして独立されました。

当日は学生からの質問を元に、菅沼先生との対談方式で講義が進められました。

写真を始めたきっかけから、照明について、人物を撮影することについてお話してくださいました。

五十嵐先生から発せられる言葉は、本質的なものばかりで、見させていただいた映像や写真も素晴らしく、片時も目が離せない時間になりました。

学生からの感想で「いろんな発見があり、一冊の本を読んだような気持ちでした。」という言葉からも、学びの多い講義だったと思います。

2年生に進級し、色々な悩みをかかえながら日々写真や自分自身と向き合っているこの時期に五十嵐先生との出会いはかけがえのないものになったと思います。

Held a special workshop for 2nd year students.
The Guest lecturer is Igarashi Takahiro, who is an independent photographer after his career in the US. Also he is a graduate of NPI.
The interviewer is Suganuma Hiroshi, who is an independent curator.

In the workshop they responded to questions from students, and told his story; his trigger to start photography, his original way of lighting or his philosophy to shoot a portrait.

With beautiful pictures and movies, we cannot miss every topic.

A student told, “I learned many things and found new points of view. Like after reading a book.” It shows this workshop gave lots of learning to students.

2nd year students are now in struggle with stress of making their photo works own. This opportunity must be irreplaceable.
