コロナ禍以降、国内外を自由に行き来できないような閉塞的な状況においても写真家を目指す人々に大きな刺激を与えたいと、「未来の写真家たちへ Message from the Masters of Photography」と題し2021年より本校が始めたこのトークショー。
アレック・ソス（Alec Soth）、スティーブ・マッカリー（Steve McCurry）、スーザン・メイゼラス（Susan Meiselas）に続く第4弾。アメリカ現代写真の巨匠、スティーブン・ショア（Stephen Shore）のオンライントークショーを2024年1月13日（土）に開催。
ニューカラーを代表する写真家であり、数々の歴史的名作を残してきたショアが写真家人生を振り返りながら、自身の生き方を決定づけた出来事やその哲学などを、これから写真家を目指す人に語ります。

We’re holding an online talk show with Stephen Shore, master of American modern photography!
NPI began the “Message from the Masters of Photography” online talk show series in 2021 in order to provide inspiration and stimulation to budding photographers, even amid the isolated conditions caused by the COVID pandemic, which closed country borders and made both domestic and international travel difficult.
This will be the fourth installation of the series, after events with Alec Soth, Steve McCurry and Susan Meiselas. The online talk show with the master of American modern photography, Stephen Shore, will be held on Saturday, January 13th 2024!
Shore is a one of the flag-runners of new color photography and has given birth to numerous historically famous photographic works. Shore will address those aiming to become photographers in the talk show while reflecting on his life as a photographer, speaking of the important episodes that shaped his life and work, about his philosophy regarding photography and more.
